ORCHID KOKEDAMA
ORCHID KOKEDAMA
Kokedama is a traditional Japanese form of bonsai in which tropical plants are transformed into living sculptural art pieces -- simply translated, kokedama means "moss ball". If you would rather not string up a hanging garden in your home, display kokedama on altar-like stands and arrange in artistic groupings. Either way, the results are extraordinarily appealing.
An epiphyte’s roots do not appreciate being tightly packed and will demand their freedom. I have devised a way of tricking nature’s ultimate trickster into enjoying the swinging heights of a kokedama, with a couple of adjustments of course. In fact, I've turned my usual kokedama recipe, inside out!
Moss ball diameter measures approx 12cm. Plant measures approx. 25cm tall. See detailed care instructions.
*Please bear in mind, each plant is a unique individual with its own quirky character and looks.
